Polari uses a wide range of verbs to describe both everyday actions, as well as actions specific to gay culture and the entertainment industry. In this lesson, some of these verbs alongside example sentences will be taught. As well as this, the way verbs can be conjugated will also be covered.

As you may see in the above example sentences, the way that verbs in Polari are conjugated follow English language conventions. Let’s take for example the verb ‘varda’ which is conjugated in the 3rd person singular form, the present participle form and past tense.
